This is our last installment, it turns out! Some 350 screenshots or so, but we've reached the end. Amazing! I was wondering if I'd just forget about this entirely like I tend to do with a lot of my projects. GO SHORT ATTENTION SPAN GO
WOOHOO it only took...SIX MONTHS?! JESUS CHRIST.
I'd move, Bernard.
There ya go.
Laverne sounds so happy when she says this. Aww.
EVERYONE REMEMBERS THIS RIGHT
Well that sums it up.
THE PLOT THICKENS
I like that Laverne is still up for more nonsense.
This already looks like fun!
Note that the Help Wanted sign is still there, since Bernard hasn't taken it yet? And the hole in the ground from when he fell is gone? I love continuity like that.
Hoagie sums it up perfectly.
Days that defy description.
Go Laverne go!
I don't know why but that line just really amuses me.
Has there ever been a moment in recorded history when someone replied to this with something like "Oh wait, I don't really have one, now that you mention it. Guess I should get going then."
WOO not bluffing.
::time travel paradox spasms::
Quibble: only eight tentacles actually go into the house, not ten. This drove me crazy when I was younger.
Oh frick Old Purple's font is really hard to read
No carry-ons please.
Well that worked out surprisingly well
I don't know why they moved back towards the stairs instead of going into the room but okay sure
Shoulda gone with Duracell, Purple.
Did any of you ever notice that mousehole before in earlier screenshots and wonder why it was there? No? WELL NOW YOU KNOW
Why hey, what a lovely bowling ball. Come to me, bowling ball.
A good question which we'll soon find the answer to
Once I go check upstairs of course
Okay going back down to the actual Sludgeomatic.
woah venture bros. flashback doesn't help that Dr. Fred and Dr. Venture actually do kind of look alike.
Hee, Monkey Island reference. IF YOU CAN READ IT thanks for the dark blue font Bernard.
I'll buzz off alright.
SURELY THIS IS A VICTORY FOR GOOD
The day is saved!
Oh there he is.
Why do you like shrinking people so much Purple :<
It would probably be incredibly unpleasant to be squished by a tentacle.
Shwoop, wore off.
That does sound uncomfortable.
Point to Bernard's team!
Ooo, nice recovery from Purple's team!
HOW DID HE SEE THROUGH MY WORD PUZZLE
Hahahaha I bet it would.
A little ominous, okay.
Thank you tip your waitress!
Bernard's on to you, Purple.
Yes, yes, listen to my words. Listen to my voice. Obey. OBEY.
one thing I always found interesting about this game is that you actually win through talking. Not many games do that. There's usually an item puzzle or arcade sequence.
TALK TO THE FOOT
THERE WE GO.
Hahahahaha butterflies, awesome.
Dr. Fred has had it with this.
Truly a paralyzing concern.
Thanks Laverne. Bernard just gives her this long stare.
Dr. Fred says with great reluctance.
Just give that a minute to sink in there.
Bernard makes the first move.
Laverne is unamused.
You're a dead man, Hoagie.
I love Laverne.
Bernard takes this all in stride. I bet this kind of thing happens with them all the time.
While Laverne still grins psychotically.
I dunno why Bernard gets that particular attention but okay.
Wait lotus eaters what
Gotta pay your dues.
You know, I never played Loom. I should.
That logo makes me happy. It brings back memories of so many good games. It's like the Sierra logo.
HELLOOOOO HEY MISTER HEY
HELLOOOO ANYONE HERE
And that's the end of our adventure. This game means a lot to me. I totally recommend playing this for yourself, it's very worth it.
Music! Cause I've been slacking off on that.
